Parade in 1963

This roll was in the original box. The film was meant to be processed before January 1964 but had to wait for another 57 years.

I followed the advice from the photrio.com forum and developed it in HC-110 dilution B at 18 °C for 7 minutes. The negative came out very dense, almost black. Nonetheless, some information could still be recovered despite heavy fogging, massive grain and general degradation of the emulsion.

The roll was shot during a parade in a small American town. We see two veterans, one in a wheelchair, and one on crutches next to a Christmas tree on one of the floats with a "Christmas (for) Veterans" banner. Korean War would have finished years ago by 1963 so this must be Vietnam War veterans. Was this Veterans Day parade which is held on November 11?
